As the name will suggest, Spooky is the founder of Studiospooky. He has been experimenting with digital image making since the early 90’s, when Photoshop 2.0 only had one layer and you had to switch to preview mode in Illustrator 3.0 to see what you’d just drawn.
Since launching Studiospooky in 2005 he has been hugely prolific, often producing more work in a month than most people manage in a year. His work is unapologetically commercial and he is as equally happy being a conduit through which clients can achieve what they require as he is offering a particular style to a client that hasn’t got a firm idea in mind. So you can more often than not find him building 3d signs, neon structures and other bold semi-photographic depictions for advertising, retail, music and publishing clients.
The work shown here is merely a snapshot of his entire output to date. There really is too much to show, but check back as we will rotate the work in the portfolio frequently and also we’ll be showcasing some of Spooky’s amazing new directions in the password protected Laboratory section from 2010 onwards.
